    Shift Managment

I feel i have pushed my excel knowledge to my limitations and require some assistance with the following any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Issue

I need to verify if the correct hours are being captured by 3 different shifts.

    days 06:00 - 14:00
    afters 14:00 - 22:00
    nights 22:00 - 06:00

the maximum any one shift can claim is 8 hrs before the remainder flows into the next shift
and is classed as overtime but still needs recording and verifying.

I am using a report of which i download from a separates system and it doesn't split the above by shift.

i have attached an example below.

    thanks in advanceAttachment 56617

I know for a fact there are more elegant methods (as daddylonglegs has illustrated many times) but I think the attached might work for you in the interim ?

    absolutely fantastic.

but there seems to be an issue with the afters shift 14:00 - 22:00

it pulls into the days and nights even if there is no overtime

    cheers
