    Imported Database Date/Time Stamp

    The database field is in the format of 2009-10-20-14.39.07.258958. Before the field was a normal 10/20/2009 2:39:07 PM. I was subtracting the before value from NOW() to get the elapsed time. The bottom line is that the calculation using the new value is now giving me #VALUE!.

    Any thoughts on how to fix this?

    If you're saying the stamp is in cell A1 and you want difference in B1

    B1: =NOW()-SUBSTITUTE(SUBSTITUTE(SUBSTITUTE(A1,"-"," ",3),".",":"),":",".",3)
    However it's not clear if there is a period delimiter post last number or not... I've assumed not.
