    Printing to a disk

As the title says I have a question about printing info on a printable disk. I have a list of data (my data collection) in excel and I would like to have an option to print info from there, because printing looks better than my handwriting.
I have made my research around but I canīt find any proper instructions about the topic. I have contacted several companies about their printers that can print on a disk (canon, epson...) and they say that I can't choose the disk-tray when printing from any Office 2007 program.
I have my doubts about that there is no way to print from excel and that is why I ask if anyone here is using excel to print info to a printable disk. If you can do it then would you please share the info how you can do it and what printer you are using.

    Thanks

if you have printable disks/printer normally there is a utility where you put your image/text?
just copy the excel text and paste it in surely?
if it oly does images capture the excel sheet area you want as an image and use that instead.
    use something like

Thank you for your reply. That is one easy solution that you are offering and I cannot see why it wouldn't work.
But maybe you can suggest to me what kind of printer (what brand and model) to use as well (since I have to buy it anyway). If you know what program has the function to copy and paste then please tell me.

    Re: Printing to a disk

sorry i'm confused. do you want to print the label?
    just google for printable disks/printers
    alternatively try something like lightscribe
    http://www.lightscribe.co.uk/lightscribe.htm
you need a lightscribe dvdcdr drive though but probably cheaper than a new printer
lightscribes dvdcdr writers can be bought in uk for around Ģ25

I don't want to use printable labels since I have bad experience with them. I want to use printable disks that are printed with normal inkjet printers. I don't like lightscribe either.
I just need to find a way to print data from excel onto a disk. If you say that it is possible to copy and paste data into disk printing software then please tell which software allows to do that.

A brief Google search revealed a few printers, one from Canon and one from Epson (Epson Artisan 50 Ink Jet Printer) that can print on special CDs and DVDs. In all likelyhood, you'll have to use their custom software. You probably want be able to print directly from Excel.

Yes, I would like to print directly from Excel but it seems to be if not impossible then very hard.
