Copy Paste from Excel to Word distorts image

    Hi,

I have an Excel Table that I would like to copy as picture into MS Word, but but the picture gets distorted in the proccess. I used the standard "paste as picture" option from the drop down menu.

There are two main problems with the result:

    1. The lines appear as if they were of different width in image, but in Excel they are same(1),(2).

    2. In some places, white lines appear on the background (3),(4).

    Copy paste Excel 2.jpg

I wonder why does that happen? Because of any resizing done in the background? How could I minimize this? Perhaps a better approach would be to edit the image width some image editing software first, but then how do I copy an Excel table as image, if it is too large to be suitable for Print Screen.

By the way, what is the default file format used by MS Office to transfer images between applications?

Sorry, I didn't elaborate - the image on the right is just a zoomed in view from the left, in order to give a better perspective. I did not post the image of the original excel, but trust me, there is no white lines there.

Jack, I am not very experienced with the macros - do I have to change something, like the file name or sheet name in this macro? I tried running it with Word, but it returned some debugging error.

Thanks for the explanation. I did copy the macro into a module, and tried to run it in Excel, but I get the following error "Compile Error: User Defined Type not defined".
