Problem pasting hyperlink from one workbook to another

I am trying to copy a hyperlink to a target PFD document from one excel (MS 2007) workbook and paste this into another. When I try this the text appears in the second workbook but the link takes me back to the first workbook and not the target PFD.

    Can anyone help me?

    Thanks for the quick response.

Just as normal - I have tried CTRL+C as well as right click and then copy from the short menu.

Tried to paste by CTRL+V as well as by right click short menu. Also tried the paste speacial optionis but nothing seems to be relevant.

Is there another particular way I need to copy?
