Hi there,
Can someone please tell me why a person such as myself cannot have two or more Excel Docs on the screen side by side at the same time? And if it can be done, how do you do it? Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forum.
Please take a moment to read the rules and amend your thread title so we can help
Thank you. I am apparently not the brightest bulb on the tree because I can't edit the title. If you would like to take the time to tell me how to do that, I would be more than happy to do so. If you can answer my original question, that would be even better. Thanks again.
Here's where to find out how: http://www.excelforum.com/forum-rule...rum-rules.html

Title has been changed. Thank you to the two posters that helped with instructions.
Open two workbooks in the same instance of Excel, View > Arrange All
beat me to it!
Thank you, shg. I appreciate the tip. It's not working quite like I had hoped it would, but it is much better than nothing at all. Thank you again. I really appreciate it. Enjoy the upcoming weekend.[/SIZE]

Word and Excel are different in this respect. There are names for the two types of interfaces they implement, but they escape me ATM.
That is true. I can open many Word docs side by side with no problem. I wonder why Microsoft made Excel different. My way of doing it would be much easier, but like I said, this will work for my purposes better than nothing at all. Thanks again, shg. And thank you, jj72uk for your input and help.
