    how to select hidden cells?

How can I include hidden cells in a selection? I often want to copy part of a spreadsheet, but if I have filters on, or certain rows or columns are hidden, I can only select and copy the visible cells. Without unhihiding and unfiltering everything, is there a way to do this?

Interestingly, if cells are hidden as a result of collapsing subtotals, they would automatically be selected - in fact, Go To, Special provides a way to select only the hidden cells in this case.

    Thanks

    Hi,
You could use VBA to temporarily take off the filter, copy and paste your range and then re-apply the filter. If you do this after an Application.ScreenUpdating = False you wouldn't notice.

Thanks - not really into VBA. I would also have to unhide all rows and columns and re-hide all rows and columns.
