Exclamation line graph problem in excel!!!

For a class project I have to make several line graphs with temperatures and months listed.

I have attached what it should look like. And what my attempt in excel looks like.

The first one is temperature where it has Morning temp, Average Temp, Afternoon Temp, and the comfortable barrier.

I guess what im asking is what did I do wrong, and what are the step by steps of doing this right?

Because basically for each month I have several fields of date i need to add.

If i could put points somehow and it create a line, that would work. Or if anyone knows a better program to do it in.

    Thanks!

To best describe or illustrate your problem you would be better off attaching a dummy workbook, the workbook should contain the same structure and some dummy data of the same type as the type you have in your real workbook - so, if a cell contains numbers & letters in this format abc-123 then that should be reflected in the dummy workbook.

If needed supply a before and after sheet in the workbook so the person helping you can see what you are trying to achieve.

Doing this will ensure you get the result you need!
    Hope that helps.

Check these help pages for basic chart information

    http://office.microsoft.com/en-gb/ex...010354473.aspx

    http://office.microsoft.com/en-gb/ex...in=HA010354473

The key is the data layout. Use column A for month names, column B,C etc for each set of data.
