Advanced Filter from 2 separate worksheets

Is it possible to use an advanced filter to filter from 2 different worksheets into 1?

I have two worksheets with an identical format/layout, but each have different information. I'd like to filter all rows where column C has the word "client" in it from both worksheets into 1 seperate sheet.

I don't understand what you mean. Can I have two different list ranges within one advanced filter?

    Hi,

I think what Martin was suggesting is to filter both sheets, running an advanced filter twice. Then if you need a combined range just copy the filtered data from each sheet to a third sheet.

Re: Advanced Filter from 2 separate worksheets

    Still haven't figured this out.

Here's what I'd like to do:

I have a worksheet that has about 5 columns, each with a certain heading and date associate with each. See below.

    | Name | Product |Purchase Date| Quarterly |Semi-Annual| Annual |
    |John Smith| Car | 1/2/2009 | 4/2/09 | 7/2/2009 | 1/2/2010|
    |John Doe | Car | 2/5/2009 | 5/5/09 | 8/5/2009 | 2/5/2010|

I would like to advance filter by date. It would be created to look like a calender so that any event coming up in today()+5 shows up in the list. The list would like as follows:

    | Name | Product | Date | Quarterly/SemiAnnual/Annual |
    |John Smith| Car | 4/2/2009 | Quarterly |

So in this instance, it says the date (assuming 4/2/09) is within 4 days, and which anniversary it is (in this case quarter)
