    Pulling data from a table

Hi! I attached my excel which I'm working on. I'm exploring using excels to capture my data and I need some formulas which can extract the data from Sheet 3 to Sheet 2.

    There is a listbox in Sheet 2 - A, B, C, D, E & F. So... example if I select 'B', the data from table B in Sheet 3 will be pulled to Sheet 2..

    Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

Re: What formula should I use?

Please take a moment to read the rules and amend your title to be in compliance with rule 1. http://www.excelforum.com/forum-rule...rum-rules.html Thanks.

Yes, thank you. Unfortunately, I don't seem to be able to open your workbook. Your problem should be solvable by either an Index/Match function or a more straightforward (although volatile) Offset function if I understand it correctly.
Sorry I can't provide an actual formula for you. If I can figure out why Excel won't let me open your file, I'll see what I can do.

Sorry about the title.. I think have to convert .xlsb to a lower version.
I tried using Index/Match but I just can't seems to get it work though..
I'm new to using these formulas thus I'm not good at it...

I have attached a short example. The dropdown is in Sheet1, A1. The tables are in Sheet2. Perhaps you can modify to your data.

If you can't get it to work, and in the very small off-chance no one else helps, you could try the more straightforward Offset function. Just note that it is volatile, which means it recalculates every time you change anything, even if it doesn't affect those cells. If the tables are small, you won't notice this. If they are very large, it could slow down the workbook.
