Subtract time with text added

I would like to subtract 9:30 AM From 9:40 Am. I have tried the formula listed and I get, (0.00694444444444442 Mins)

time is represented in days, so multiply the result of your formula by 1440 (24 h * 60 min) to get to minutes. You might also round the result to get a clean result.

=round((S5-Q5)*1440,0)&""&" Mins"

=TEXT((A1-B1)*1440,"00")&" Mins"

I would suggest you use

=S5-Q5

And apply a Custom Format to cell containing formula of: [m]" Mins"
(underlying value thus persists as valid time value for latter calcs if nec.)

How did you get the 1440 to multiply by?

1440 = 60*24 = number of minutes in a day.
