    sharing workbook

    excel 2003...how do you share the workbook so that 2 people can work on the same spreadsheet at the same time? Also, is it recommended that we do this with a very large spreadsheet? we have about 15000 lines of data.

    It's not recommended that two people have the same workbook open at the same time. If both make changes, then one saves and closes the file, the second person is still working off the file as it was originally. When he or she saves, it overwrites the first person's changes.

    I think most people would recommend against sharing workbooks; they have a tendency to get corrupted. It's not one of Excel's bulletproof features.
