Excel 2007 : Excel 2003 saving as 2007

I have a situation at work where when an Excel 2003 file is open and Save As is selected, the only save options are in Excel 2007. We do not have Excel 2007 loaded at work and this problem does not occur for all of my co-workers. How is this possible and what is the fix?

This is just a thought.
Do you have the conversion tool on your computer to OPEN 2007 xlsx files with your 2003?

I believe 2003 takes the setting of the last file saved (or first file opened) and projects that to your current file.
