how to remove a digit

sir,
in my exel sheet a1:a999 = 000-999 from this set i have some cut digits ( cut digits are changing every time,) my quastion is this how i remove the cut digits from this 000-999
a1;a999 = 000:999
if my cut digit is 0123,then result is without touch the 0123 (no number from 0123)

I have no Idea what you are asking but if it is to remove digits:
Use Mod(A1,1) to have the number without the decimals
Use Int(A1) to have the number (left to the dot)

If you like to see a certain format 123 displayed as 0123 then
use custum format "0000"
