Numerical Ratio to Return Decimal Equivalent

I'm attempting to link a ratio to a decimal equivalent, for instance I'd like to enter "80," (as in an 80/1 ratio), into a cell and have it return a value of .0125, (the decimal equivalent) in another cell.

    Example, 80 gals fuel will require 1 gal of oil for an 80/1 ratio, (80 X .0125 = 1)

I know this is middle school algebra, but it's been a few years since middle school.

Re: Numerical Ratio to Return Decimal Equivalent

    If A1 contains 80, then =1/A1 returns 0.0125

The fraction of oil, though is =1/(A1+1) ~0.012345
