    Copying excel info to notepad

    Hi guys,
I am having trouble copying information from excel to notepad or any other word processor. What i want to do is copy information from excel to notepad. But when i do it leave big spaces in between the horizontal column.
So when i copy information from excel to notepad it looks like this:

Example, (SPACE) example, (SPACE) example, (SPACE) example,
Example, (SPACE) example, (SPACE) example, (SPACE) example,
Example, (SPACE) example, (SPACE) example, (SPACE) example,
Example, (SPACE) example, (SPACE) example, (SPACE) example,

where i need it to look like this:
    Example,example,example,example
    Example,example,example,example
    Example,example,example,example

Is it possible to do this?
Thanks guys. I appreciate any help

    Try something like this:

This will use a comma as a delimiter:
Please Login or Register to view this content.
This will use a tab as a delimiter:
Please Login or Register to view this content.

Please Login or Register to view this content.
Change worksheet ranges, text filenames and paths to suit.

Re: Copying excel info to notepad

Interesting....When pasting from Excel, Notepad fits each cells contents into character increments of 8. It the adds a variable length tab to the next increment of 8

    Example:
These Excel values from 3 contiguous columns:

Please Login or Register to view this content.
    Paste into Notepad this way:
Please Login or Register to view this content.

Perhaps this low-tech workaround can help....
•Select one of the notepad "tabs"
    •Edit.copy
    •Edit.Replace
••Find What: Ctrl+V.....(That's: Hold down CTRL and press V)
    ••Replace with: , ........(That's a comma and a space)
    ••Click: Replace All

Note: If you Excel cells already end with a comma, just replace tabs with a s pace.

All of the tabs will be replace by a comma followed by a space.

Is that something you can work with?
