Have Office 2007 and Windows XP. The back slash has become "multiply" and the star has become "divide". In other words, these two symbols are reversed. Have no idea how this happened. How can it be reversed back to normal? thanks.

That's interesting. Does that appear across the board or in just one spreadsheet? Can you maybe post an example file?
Apparently, it is only one spreadsheet (this is a new problem and we didn't realize that). Will try to send you the sheet on Thursday - won't be in the next couple of days - and need to omit the personal information. Thanks.
