I have a ver large workbook and just started to have a auto calc problem on one sheet. Let me give a brief description of the workbook so it makes more sense. It is a projection workbook for my auto dealership. So i have a sheet that looks like a finance statement for each dept (new, used, service, parts and body shop), each of these sheets the data is all from the other supporting sheets and everything on the dept sheets auto calcs. i have a payroll sheet that has the employe name, dept, what line i want them to show on the statement, and pay info and also if i want to split there pay as a % of each dept. so the problem is when i change new car % of pay to 50% and then look on new dept it doesn't change , if i go in again and change it to 25% and look on new dept it will show the 50% and if i change again to 10% it will show 25%, or i can double click on the cell on new dept and hit enter and it will calculate correctly but on the used dept which is a copy of new but with used data same formulas but different cell ref, it works fine. this is the formula on the new dept that wont calculate correctly
=SUMIFS('Payroll Beta'!$CH$10:$CH$40,'Payroll Beta'!EX10:EX40,"x",'Payroll Beta'!$H$10:$H$40,Used!$F21)*'Wrk Cal'!A$51
i have tried to set on manual and auto calculate, i have tried shutting the file and restarting it, i have tried to rewrite code nothing is working. and im about to through my computer out the window.
I am running Microsoft Excel 2008 for mac.
and it was working 2 days again and nothing has changed file wise since then.
