    Hi verisme

    Re: sort data automatically

thanks for changing the thread title. I've made a few corrections.

With only screen shots at hand, it is hard to suggest a solution, because I don't feel like retyping your data. I think the easiest way to organise your data would be a pivot table.

Here is a link to give you some background:

    Re: sort data automatically

thank for the answer ! anyway, is there another way, that is not using pivot tabel , macro , or something that must be clicked before, i want to avoid that ?
so what i meant is, everytime i've input or updated some data in sheet1 the data transfer into sheet2 sort based on item and conditon , just like sumif function, but sumif its only sum number based on the criteria that we put, it doesnt transfer a single/multiple row into another sheet with the same group. i've been thinking of using if and loop and cell function (is there a loop/ do while function in excel but not using vba script ?)

That's why pivot tables will be your ticket!

Also, your expected result will need to have the separate sections shrink and grow depending on the amount of data for reach section. Again, something that is a no-brainer for a pivot table, if you would just spend a few minutes learning how they work

A solution with macros and convoluted formulae is possible, but most here won't feel like duplicating native Excel functionality.
