    Mass Changes to Selected Numeric Range

    While not a stranger to IT, I have never delved into macros, or VBA so be gentle.......

    I have several worksheets with graphics, text, and numeric fields.

    I would need to be able to modify a selected numeric range by a fixed percentage.

    Example

    before....................
    abc 10
    def 12
    ghi 8

    after........................ increased by 10%
    abc 11
    def 13.2
    ghi 8.8

    Thank you!!!!!!!

    Ken

    Re: Mass Changes to Selected Numeric Range

    you could just multiply those values by 1.1 put 1.1 in a spare cell copy
    then select the range of numbers pase special/multiply

    I think I know what you mean;

    1) copy the selected values to empty area

    2) create a new "block" from the above with the increased values

    3) copy - values only - the increased values back over the originals

    Am doing that now - very tedious!!!! Is there no better way?!
