    Formula in "concatenate" comand ???

    Hello every body.

I would like to introduce a formula into a text .

    =CONCATENATE(" The reserves " & "31-12-2009")

I would like to take automatically the date in this concatenate from another cell in which is shown the real date..

    Example

    =CONCATENATE("reserves " & "= H5") ; In this case cell H5 is the needed date.

Thank you for helping me in this matter.

    Friendly
    Sokol

    Hello
Thank you for your idea. I tried but the output was :
( reserves 31-12-yyyy ). in this case the cell H5 was the date 31-12-2009.

it seems that there is a problem with the format of the txt and specially with the year.

I agree with ncmay... This should have worked (I use this all the time).

    I tried again with (= "reserves " & TEXT(C3; "dd-mm-jjjj")) and now it works
    now.

Bisare the format of the text 'dd-mm-jjjj' but it works now.

    Thank you very much.
