    Convert decimal to time

    can some one please show me how to convert decimal to time. attached is a draft of my projectLeave_Tracker(1).xls

    Welcome to the forum.

    If the decimal value is hours, divide by 24 to get an Excel time (and format as time).

    Uhmm, well, that's why it would be helpful to point out which of your decimals you'd want to convert to time. Don't assume that your spreadsheet is immediately understandable for anyone, just because you wrote it.

    Specify which cells you'd want to convert to time and specify where you want the result to be displayed. Use cell addresses like A1 or K17 ....

    If you're amenable to doing this in somewhat less colorful fashion, perhaps as attached. Data is arranged in one record per row, and times are in hours. The 'used leave' columns are formatted to suppress display of zero values.

    The sheet is protected to prevent inadvertent changing of formulas (the light gray cells). No password.
