Welcome to the forum.
If the decimal value is hours, divide by 24 to get an Excel time (and format as time).
Entia non sunt multiplicanda sine necessitate
thanks for the reply, but this will need to be step step process for me. I am not Excel literate
I don't know where you want to apply it.
that is why I had the attachment in the original reguest
Uhmm, well, that's why it would be helpful to point out which of your decimals you'd want to convert to time. Don't assume that your spreadsheet is immediately understandable for anyone, just because you wrote it.that is why I had the attachment in the original reguest
Specify which cells you'd want to convert to time and specify where you want the result to be displayed. Use cell addresses like A1 or K17 ....
If you're amenable to doing this in somewhat less colorful fashion, perhaps as attached. Data is arranged in one record per row, and times are in hours. The 'used leave' columns are formatted to suppress display of zero values.
The sheet is protected to prevent inadvertent changing of formulas (the light gray cells). No password.
This is amazing. Your help has saved me a lot of time. Thanks.
