    Crazy Excel Question

OK. I need some help. I am decent with Excel and this one has really got me. Here is what I have going on:

Every week I open up file numbers.xlsm. I have several macros that import numbers into this file. Once complete, I have a macro that renames that file based on the day and business I run it for (i.e. 010410_Business A or 011110_Business B). Here is my problem. The numbers I import are forecasted numbers. I need to go back later an add in data for the business after the day has ended AND add it back into the file after it has already been saved. Here are my steps, hopefully it will help:

    #1) Open spreadheet numbers.xlsm
#2) Run macro to import Forecasted data
#3) Run macro to save numbers.xlsm spreadsheet to NEW filename (i.e. 010410_Business.xlsm)
#4) 01/04/10 is Monday. On 01/05/10, Tuesday, I need to import ACTUAL numbers into the 010410_Business.xlsm speadsheet. On Wednesday, I will update Tuesday's numbers and so on.
#5) I need to be able to do this every week when I run a new week of data (i.e 010410, 011110, 011810, etc..)

    Hope someone can help.

    Thanks,
    Brad

    Re: Crazy Excel Question

digitalrookie sent me a PM asking to be removed from the forum. Apparently the effort required to help the volunteers here understand the request was beyond digitalrookie's capabilities.
