Red X exit program button missing

Hi,

The Red X, close/exit program button along with the minimize/restore contols, have disappeared from Excel. The "x" that closes the window and the window minimize/restore controls still present. Any idea how to get them back? I have reset the toolbars (Tools-Customize-Options-Reset Menu and Toolbar data) but that had no effect.

Have a look in Control Panel - Display - Appearance - Advanced then select Active Title Bar in the drop down box. The size for mine is 25, has yours been changed to a smaller value?
