Where is this calander (Excel?). Is it in a network forlder. Is it a master? Who can access? If you would have a flow chart then we could comment.
How is the request being send in.
If there is a master one could check the latest revisions.
You get a list of changes
Once approved you send out an email automatically
This all requires VBA code. If you are not able to Maintain this yourself (or someone in the company) you should rethink this option. You could (hopefully) get away with just Worksheet formula's only, but all depends on your requirements.
Looking for great solutions but hate waiting?

Ave,

It is an excel workbook, 26 bi weekly pages, posted on the share drive at work. Right now all employees can view it but only supervisors can make changes view workbook password. I was just wondering if I could allow employees to make limited changes like Annual leave requests by limiting what they can and cannot change or input. I was hoping for something simple like they could type ALR into the cells (for the dates wanted) and then send an email to the sup who could then approve changing the entry to AL (for approved annual leave). It is a minor want which if it requires major work would not be worth the trouble. Thanks
I've made an easy setup.
One can change Columns A:B, but need a password (in this case password) to change the other columns.
Change approved from No to Yes.
let me know what you think and we'll go from there.
