    Excel - Condition Statement - Macro -

    Hii..

I'm looking for a macro or condition statement which would do following for me:

If cell A1 is "BUY" then run a macro automatically which will add current value in cell B1 to cell A3
so everything theres a "BUY" in cell A1..macro will keep addiing B1 values in cell A3

    and

If cell A1 is "SELL" then run a macro automatically which will add current value in cell B1 to cell A4
so everything theres a "SELL" in cell A1..macro will keep addiing B1 values in cell A4

Hope it makes sense...also A1 will be updated dynamically through external source i

No, it doesn't. Which is probably why you haven't gotten any responses.

You will be better served by uploading a sample workbook that meets the following criteria:

    1. It EXACTLY duplicates the structure of your real workbook, and . . .
    2, It contains representative but non-sensitive dummy data, and . . .
    3. Manually illustrates the desired results and clearly demonstrates the logic

Posts written using proper grammar and sentence structure and which provide clarity of thought are typically answered very quickly.

    Do you know . . . ?

Your post does not comply with Rule 1 of our Forum RULES. Your post title should accurately and concisely describe your problem, not your anticipated solution. Use terms appropriate to a Google search. Poor thread titles, like Please Help, Urgent, Need Help, Formula Problem, Code Problem, and Need Advice will be addressed according to the OP's experience in the forum: If you have less than 10 posts, expect (and respond to) a request to change your thread title. If you have 10 or more posts, expect your post to be locked, so you can start a new thread with an appropriate title.
To change a Title on your post, click EDIT then Go Advanced and change your title, if 2 days have passed ask a moderator to do it for you.
    Hope that helps.
