Insert New Row with auto Fill

    Hi,

I currently have a work sheet with a VLOOKUP function filled down in one of the columns. This column is hidden as it just creates a reference number for other formulas.

However I want to be able to insert a new row and automatically copy this formula to the new cells in the column without needing to unhide the column and fill down manualy.

What is the best way to acheive this?

    Thank you for the help,

    Screamer

You may want to have a look into the Excel List (2003) or Table (2007+) feature. Define your data area as a list or table, then all formulas and formatting will automatically be applied to inserted rows.
