    Extend Pivot Selection on raw data without applying pivot again in updated raw data

    Guys ,

    i have a pivot table on the data . what i want is i dont want to change the data on which the pivot is already present , i simply want to insert more data below the raw data on which the pivot is present , so that pivot picks automatically the updated data .

    i dont want to apply pivot again and again.

    what i m facing problem is since pivot is made on selected data. how to exhange pivot selection on raw data ?

    sample sheet attached

    check sheet 4 , and check sheet 1
    test 7 is not appearing on colum

    Make your data into a Dynamic Named Range, this will expand as data is entered. Then use the name when setting up your PivotTable. All you need then is to refresh the PivotTable

    we all know that microsoft help isint that easy to understand .
    perhaps an explanation with reference to my excel will be helpful.
