    Freezing columns and rows together

    Hi,

I am having trouble freezing columns and rows at the same time. If I freeze only a row 1 it works fine and if I freeze only a column B it works fine the problem comes when I do both together. It keeps freezing at column J and row 13 no matter which I am selecting together. Can someone please help me with this? The job is still being done the way that it is now but it is frustrating me because I can't figure it out.

    Thanks

    unfreeze anyl existing freeze.
    select B2
    click freeze panes

Does that not freeze row 1 AND column A in place for you?

Please describe what you mean by ...which I am selecting...
If you select a single cell, choose Split, then the rows above and to the left will remain stationary as you scroll down and right.

Thanks, got it figured out. Took much less time to register and post a thread than the amount of time I already messed around with it.

Can you let us in on what you did? What was the solution?
