how to copy an equation where one ref changes and the other stay the same

I want to "drag" copy an equation down a collum. the first part of the equation is say B3 and needs to change to B4, B5 etc. the second part is * J2 (a single cell with a reference number).

Whe i set up the equation B3*J2 in cell D3 and drag to D4 it changes to B4*J3

I want the equations to be like this, B3*J2, B4*J2, B5*J2 etc. How can i do this without having to manually edit every equation. (I have been doing this for about 300 lines)
There must be an easier way.

    Hi concreteman

use the $ before the row number that you dont want to change, drag down as before

    = B3*J$2,

    Try

    =B3*$J$2

$ sign is used to make absolute reference...
