    Vlookup with multiple returns

    Hello,

I have looked through the site and found multiple ways of producing the results I want. My problem is that I am unable to recreate it on my current spreadsheet.

I was thinking it would be easiest with a pull down menu of column A to select the appropriate User ID. Then all the fields would self populate with the vlookup function. Columns F and G would need to populate all of the values found on the data! sheet. This is where I run into problems. Attached is an example spreadsheet of where I am now with a sample User ID shown. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

    Re: Vlookup with multiple returns

    In E2 of data sheet:

    =IF(A2="","",COUNTIF(A$2:A2,Lookup!$A$2)) copied down

    in F2 of data sheet:

    =MAX(E:E)

    in E2 of Lookup Sheet:

    =IF(ROWS($A$1:$A1)>data!$F$2,"",INDEX(data!B:B,MATCH(ROWS($A$1:$A1),data!$E:$E,0)))

copied down as far as you want and across
Where there is a will there are many ways.
