Can anyone tell me what is wrong with the formula on page 1 cell F56? it is not adding the 666 gallons at the end of column F for 426 - cc. Any ideas?

Try:
=SUMIFS(F$6:$F$36,$C$6:$C$36,C56,$C$6:$C$36,D56)
Where there is a will there are many ways.

thanks but no. Didn't work. I need it to sum a combined total for 426 and 426 - cc combined in that cell.
Try:
=SUMPRODUCT((($C$6:$C$36=C56)+($C$6:$C$36=D56)),F$6:$F$36)
or
Sum(Sumif($C$6:$C$36,C56,F$6:$F$36),Sumif($C$6:$C$36,D56,F$6:$F$36))
YES! thank you! Now I can re-do all 31 pages of my workbook! Awsome!
I am not sure if you know this... but...
Since the formula in all 31 books seems to be the same and referencing the same cells and in the same position, you can change the formula in one only sheet and have it automatically change in all other sheets....
... Select the 1st tab, then hold the Shift key down and select the last tab.. all tabs within should be selected... now make changes... once finished, right-click any tab and select Ungroup sheets.
Thats just crazy enough to work. I'll try it!
well, some of the sheet is protected and some is not. All the sheets have the same protection. So first I have to unprotect them all (right) then make the changes as you suggest and then re-protect their specific sections per sheet right? May be easier to delete 2-31, change and re-protect 1, and then copy 31 times. ya think?
If all the sheets are exact replicas, then perhaps deleting all but one and copying 30 times is probably better and in the end you know that all the same....
so...just to be clear. I can't group protect or unprotect right?
No, not the sheets... Try selecting multiple sheets and go to Tools|Protection.. you should see that Protect Sheet is greyed out...
yes, thanks for the help. (again)!
i have a club where members make customized memberships according to there needs and availability.I am attaching the spread sheet . I would really appreciate if someone can help me with the formula as I am very new to Excel formulas. Thanks very much.
