Text1 or text2 or blank in a cell

    Hi again,
I was looking for how to have a cell (A1) that can only contain one of three condition:
    Text1
    Text2
    BLANK
when someone types in that A1 cell.

    ????????????

    Thanks
    Rober

    Hi,

you can use data validation for this. Click the cell, then select Data Validation on the Data ribbon.
Select "List" in the Allow drop down and type your allowed text in the Source box, separated by a comma.

You can tick the "In cell dropdown" if you want the user to select from a drop-down list instead of typing, but typing is also possible.
