    Date/Month/ Year ?

I have a excel worksheet made for the wifes business and have I hope is a simple question to ask?

I have a worksheet that has 31 tabs it represents the 31 days of the months, I have the worksheet saved for each month Jan - Dec. It is a sheet we use to keep track of her daily totals for sales at her consignment store.

The ? and problem is,is there anyway to make it auto fill the year, month, and day thru all 31 tabs on each months document without having to manually enter them in each tab?

Included is a pic to give you a better idea of what im saying and sorry had to cut it down to stay within size limits. I am using exel 2007. Thanks any help appreciated.

Unless she exceeds 64K (Excel 2003 & prior) or 1M Excel (2007) transactions per year, it would be much better design to put all the data on a single sheet. Then you can use all sorts of Excel tools to analyze the data by day, week, month, quarter, year, ...

    +1 on this

I would actually leave the sheet exactly as it is and use it for the whole year. Put a filter at the top and then have a report sheet that spits out a summary of sales

Sumifs and countifs are great tools in these instances.
