    Excel Dynamic Range

    Hi

I am trying to plot some graph using excel dynamic range OFFSET, I need to select a range in the specified duration, There seem to be some issue with the range selection

    App1_DateRange
    =OFFSET(App1_Dates,MATCH(StartDate,App1_Dates,1)-1,0,MATCH(EndDate,App1_Dates,1)-MATCH(StartDate,App1_Dates,1)+1,1)

    where
StartDate and EndDate will be input entries provided by user
App1_Dates is a range of Application 1 dates

Any clues, whats wrong with this formula.

    Re: Excel Dynamic Range

First glance, your defined StartDate and EndDate named ranges have REF! errors...

The dates in col C are text. You could extract an Excel date/time using the formula given in your other thread (http://www.excelforum.com/excel-gene...me-values.html)
