Alphabetically start from letter

If i type some word (first 4 to 5 word) or more.

if I m start letter from AK …….
possible to display in side popup window which letter start from ak in our previous record i.e. akashwani or akshare like that. I dont want through vba or access because i m not use before. I want same excel sheet.

We have attach sample sheet.

could you attach a smaller data sample with just a few dozen rows of data that illustrates your issue? Not everybody feels like downloading more than half a MB. I certainly don't.

Actually in file only 10 to 12 row data input but due to vlookup (2 to 3 file interconnect) hence file size big. Anyway i once again attach after removing formula. Inconviniance cause regreated.

I'm sorry but I can't make much of your description or example file. Can you please mock up your expected result and explain the logic that leads to it?

Also, please update your profile to include your Office version and location. This will make it easier to help you.

Please explain your issue in the narrative of the post, not only in the attachment.

Excel does not provide a type-ahead or auto-complete functionality natively. This would require extensive VBA.

Sorry for inconviniance. I would like to explian you that, if I m start type a letter from AK …….
All those word display which is start from AK in same sheet & separate window which is already enter in our record (col: c2 to c21) I will give example Suppose I enter in col: c22 letter ak then result show in (suppose in col: y22 location). refer col: c18 & c19 & on same time if third alfabet is different of col: c18 & c19 (third letter a & s respectively) if letter start from alfabet akg then automatically display off in col: y22 & y23 location.

You can modestly approximate what you're trying to do as follows:

Select C22, Data > Validation > Allow: List, Source: =$C$3:$C21 (exactly as shown).

Then do Tools > Options > Edit, tick Enable Autocomplete for cell values.

Then start typing in C22. When you've entered enough characters to specify a unique match, the value will automatically complete.
