    Problem after installing Office SP

Hello, I tried searching, but am incapable of finding the right combination of keywords for this. I did some upgrades on an XPPro computer with Office 2007 installed. One of those upgrades was a service pack for Office. Now when I open spreadsheets that previously used to display 12 columns, they only display 11, which is annoying, but not insurmountable, or wouldn't be, except for the fact that Excel will not allow me to scroll to the right to see the columns that are off the page. Is there a setting I need to change? How do I get it back to the way it used to be?
Thank you for any help you can give.

Hi Mid_Life_Crisis, welcome to the forum.

Without seeing your workbook, can't say for sure. But some things to check:

    1. Are you looking at the workbooks in Normal view? Go to the View tab in the ribbon and at the left make sure Normal is selected.

    2. Do you have any frozen columns/rows? On the View tab again, click 'Freeze Panes'. If an option to 'Unfreeze Panes' appears below that click it and then try to scroll to the right.

If that doesn't resolve the problem, perhaps try posting a sample workbook (minus any sensitive data).

Thank you for the response. The computer in question is at home. It is actually my wife's computer, she uses it for work and is not happy that I did the update that caused all this. I'll check it tonight and respond with what I find then.
