    Completely freeze formulas help

Hi, guys. I have a question. I have 2 columns of data and in the third column I have an if statement comparing the two columns to see if they are the same. If they are not I am inserting cells to either make each row have a blank cell and cell with data, or both cells having the same data. But when I go to insert the cell it changes the formula that compares the cells across to the next reference for the next cell down. How can I stop this. I have tried using absolute references and that hasn't worked.

Here are some pics to my dilemma, Thanks

Ok I figured out I can use the INDIRECT command, but I have hundreds of cells I want to do this to and just dragging the formula just copies it I want it to reference the next cells and then not change after that
