Hi
Can someone help solve a little problem I am having?
I keep cattle, and keep their records on a spreadsheet. I have the animal's date of birth in cell D8, a formula which automatically gives the animal's age in H8, and the date of death in M8. All of these cells are set for Comic Sans font, size 11.
Normally cell M8 is empty, but when the animal dies, a date will be put in M8. When this happens, instead of cell H8 giving the animal's age I want it to display the cross symbol in Wingings, code 0251, in size 24. So an entry in M8 must cause the font in H8 to switch to Windings and enter Alt 0251 in size 24. Can this be done? Or can it be done another way?
If it's relevant, the formula in cell H8 is currently =IF(D8="","",IF(DATEDIF(D8,TODAY(),"y")=0,"",DATEDIF(D8,TODAY(),"y")&"y ")&IF(DATEDIF(D8,TODAY(),"ym")=0,"",DATEDIF(D8,TODAY(),"ym")&"m ")&DATEDIF(D8,TODAY(),"md")&"d")
btw, it's Excel 2007.
Thanks
