Auto copy form two cells to another

Hi I am trying to take the values from B1 and C1 and store them in L1, I want to log the values automatically as the values in B1 and C1 get changed frequently and i just need to keep a log of all values in those fields.
    Any help much appreciated
    Thanks

    Hi bulld,

welcome to the forum. Can you explain a bit further, please? Can you post a spreadsheet with your data input and mock up the expected results? Upload a file by clicking Go Advanced and then the paper clip icon.

    cheers

Ok Here is my upload, all i want to do .. but cant is when the values in B2 and C2 get changed ( or are not alread inlcuded in L2) that the old values ( Btest5 - Ctest 5) get coppied to L2 as they have been manually updated for 1, 2 , 3 and 4

Hi, you won't be able to do that with a formula. You'll need code to do that. Right-click on the Sheet tab and click View Code. Then copy and paste this code into the code window.

The macro will fire whenever you change cell C2, so you best change B2 first, then C2. If the combination already exists in L2, nothing happens. But if it's a new combination, it will be added at the bottom of L2.
