    Sumif checking two ranges

I'm trying to sum values in Col. C if certain criteria is met in cols A & B. My attached worksheet is an example of what I’m trying to do. Not sure if the Sumif is the best way to try and do this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Re: Sumif checking two ranges

    Hi,

    Try Sumproduct

This will return the red and north option

    =SUMPRODUCT((B1:B11="RED")*(C1:C11="NORTH")*(D1:D11))

change criteria and ranges as required.
    Rule 1: Never merge cells
    Rule 2: See rule 1
