IF Statement Help

I have the exact same IF statement in two different documents and the statement will only work in one of them. Can someone help me expalin why? It works in the IF calculation document but not in the IF statement example document. In the IF statement example document the formula is in cell J56.

Because H26 is entered as a text value rather than a number....

If you are getting these values from P and Q, then select Column P, go to Data|Text to Columns and click Finish.. repeat for column Q.

For that specific cell in H56, select the cell, hit F9, hit Enter
