    Unlock Form Option Buttons

I have a sheet with 4 option buttons from the form toolbox. I am trying to protect the sheet but keep the option buttons unlocked. I am only able to get one to lock at a time, not all 4.
I have opened each format control menu and unlocked each button but when I protect the sheet only one button is unlocked. I can't figure out why.

    Thank You

What do you mean by you're trying to keep the "buttons unlocked" but then you are "able to get one to lock at a time." This is a conflicting statement.

If the option buttons are linked to a cell, then the linked cell must also be unlocked. After creating a sheet with option buttons and protecting it (with all buttons set to unlocked), I'm not able to duplicate your issue.

Upload your workbook and provide a clearer explanation of what you want to achieve given the above statement is contradictory.

    Palmetto,

    You have answered my question.

I was not clear how the button protection was suposed to work. I was under the impression that I would have to lock the linked cell as well as have each button unlocked.

I just hid the linked cell under one of the buttons, unlocked the cell and I am now able to protect the rest of the sheet and have the buttons function properly.

    Thank you for your time.
