Return the index of the first cell in a one row/column array that does NOT match

    Hi there,

I was wondering if anyone could help me with a non VBA solution that will return the index of the first cell in a one row/column array that does NOT match a given value.

    Something equivalent to:

    =MATCH(<>C2,D:D,0)

Thanks in advance for any help!

    one way
    =MATCH(1,INDEX(--(A2:A20<>C2),0),0)
    or
    =MATCH(TRUE,INDEX((A2:A20<>C2),0),0)
