    Smile How to Link / Belong 2 cells

    Hello,

    I need help with this. I have 2 cells, A1 & B1.

    A1= 888333
    B1= K33246

    What I need it's to link / relate / belong these 2 cells to be all the time together. If I write everyplace 888333 (A1) value K33246 will need to appear next to it.

    Please help!

    Thanks.

    Hi,

    It's not clear (to me at least) precisely what you mean. However I'm guessing that you have a list of values some of which are 888333 and in an adjacent column you want to see K33246.

    In which case and assuming your list starts in A10 use

    Hi Richard,

    Thank you for your reply. I'm sorry I didn't express myself well. I attached the excel file, please let me know if it's more clear now.

    Thanks!

    Re: How to Link / Belong 2 cells

    Jean,

    Many thanks! We're very close to the solution but I see I didn't express myself right (sorry ). I need for reference the number that it's on the cell, not the cell (or location). I mean, when I right SKU K33246 and doesn't matter where this number is located, the inventory number 888333 will appear, I need to match exactly between the values of the cells connecting these 2 numbers to each other.

    Thanks again for your help! Really appreciated .

    Daniel.

    Re: How to Link / Belong 2 cells

    You're just great! Thank you very much .

    It really works as I wrote but now that I'm trying it out, it's becoming to be more complicated. Maybe we just need to make a revision or maybe you could suggest me another way to do it. I have 2 excel files:

    File A: This excel have alreadfy the match between SKU's and the inventory numbers and also other fields like title, description, price of a product, etc. This is the file I should upload again to the system after I revise the quantity available of these products from file B.

    File B: This is another/s file/s that contain the SKU and the quantity available of the products.

    What I need it's to copy/paste the SKU and the quantity available from file B and I paste it to File A, matching the SKU with the inventory number.

    There are 2 problems:

    1. It's a problem because in file A I have other fields like title, description, price of a product and they should stay as they are. It's making me crazy.

    2. With this new file (thanks a lot!) I can only copy/paste 1 SKU at time, I would need to do that with all the column.

    Maybe I thought from the beginning a wrong way to do that and I would appreciate ideas.

    Again, thanks you!!!!!

    Daniel.
