Need to return data in excel (not vlookup!?)

Hi there,

This is my first post.

basically, I've got a table with loads of data in it, the first two columns are day and date so for example:


Monday 30/03/09 100
Tuesday 31/03/09 250
Monday 06/04/09 500

what I want to do is have a different tab with all the mondays on one tab, however use the main tab to bring this data in.

how can I do this??

How would I then use the key to get the data in a new tab, what formula would I use, using the key?

have you looked at the other work sheets? i.e mondays and tuesdays where the functions are!
