Copy Down Formula - Keep Row But Change Column

    Hi All,

Hopefully this is a simple question. I have a cell - C80 - in which I have the formula:

Please Login or Register to view this content.
I went to copy this down to C81 and it changes to:

Please Login or Register to view this content.
I then added a $ sign by the row number so it now changes to:

Please Login or Register to view this content.
    i.e. no change.

I want it to change to:

Please Login or Register to view this content.
Please Login or Register to view this content.
    and so on.

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks

Re: Copy Down Formula - Keep Row But Change Column

    Hi martindwilson

I have a similar issue with another formula. I want to copy this down:

    =COUNTIF('Programme Plan'!D:D,"GL")

so that it becomes E:E, F:F etc.

I cannot seem to work it out based on what you did before. Could you help?

Also, is there anything I can look at that will explain what I need to do the next time?

    Thanks
