If a cell equals another cell, sum the cells beside it...

I have two seperate columns... like this:

    34.99 SN1
    14.99 CB1
    11.99 SN1
    44.99 KW1
    19.99 SN1
    9.99 SN1
    11.99 CB1
    119.99 SN1

How can I list and sum all the totals that have SN1 in an adjacent cell?

Say if I wanted to total all the SN1 numbers? So I have a cell on another sheet that says SN1 and beside it says the total of all this users sales

Write somewhere SN1 (for example D1):

    =SUMIF(B:B, D1, A:A)

Of course, you can take arrays in another sheet
