    Merge two files..

I have two sets of data which are in the attached file. I want to bring data over from table 2 into table 1. However, I only want to bring it over once.

I keep getting the same data in the next row. There must be a way to tell it only bring it over once.... I appreciate any help I can get.........

What do you mean by "bring it over once"? How do you map which rows in Table 2 go with which rows in Table 1? How do you decide when to use zeroes vs. when to use the original record from Table 2? I get the feeling that the real data is more complex than this example implies.

Not really. The code is the common field for both table.

The problem lies in the fact that the code can show up more than once in each of the tables. I only want the amount, due data from table 2 to show up only once for each acct#. Not sure if this helps but I'll give it a try........
