    Subtracting dates

This is probably a simple answer for someone. I have two date cells. One shows a date of 10/1/2008 and the other 11/2/2009. What I really want is 11/2/2009 minus 10/1/2008 = the number of days from one date to the next. But I need those dates to still appear as dates, not the excel numerical version.

Not sure what you mean.. if you subtract 2 dates, you will get a number, like 365 ... how do you convert that to a date format?
Where there is a will there are many ways.

You're right. Nevermind this question. I knew it was something simple I missed.
